THE GILA...WHAT A TRIP!
BVC will be hosting several wilderness trips this year for our members and friends, including a trip into America's First Wilderness, the Gila, in August! Join us!
In October of 2014, a very special event will be occurring in Albuquerque. It will be the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Wilderness Act, a conference which will celebrate and look at the challenge moving forward for wilderness in America, and across the globe.
BVC's Stephen Capra was named National co-chair. Working closely with Stephen will be Arturo Sandoval of the Center of Southwest Cultures, who helped put on America’s first Earth Day in 1970.
